Since 1974, an annual non-denominational Easter Sunrise Service has taken place on The Flower Mound. It is the longest-running event in the town. The crosses usually are set up a few weeks prior. On this Easter night I was hoping for a gorgeous sunset but witnessed an equally spectacular light show instead. Yes, I do dumb things to get cool lightning shots. Visiting the highest point in town is among them.
