Jesuit’s rugby program started as a club team in 1997, which began competing in 1998, becoming a varsity program within two years, bolstered by the growing enthusiasm for the sport at the school. Since then, the team has made numerous state Final Four and regional championship appearances, in addition to the national tournament. The program has continued to grow, with mor than 40 young men currently on the Jesuit Rugby Varsity and Junior Varsity team rosters.
