Caring for an aging parent can be overwhelming. To help identify local resources, the caregiver support group at First United Methodist Church of Coppell is hosting Lynda Ender, AGE director from The Senior Source.
The Eldercare Specialists from The Senior Source help older adults and their caregivers make thoughtful, informed decisions about housing, health care, finances, Medicare, etc. Eldercare Specialists also assist individuals and caregivers in dealing with the complex emotional issues involved with the process of aging.
Caregiving Heroes is open to the public and invites any family caregiver to attend. The meeting is on March 6 at 7 p.m. in a classroom off of Wesley Hall. FUMC Coppell is located at 420 S. Heartz in Coppell. For more information, contact Marilyn Horton, marhorton@gmail.com, 972-393-1304.
