Robert H. "Bob" Eidd
Robert H. "Bob" Eidd, 75, of Highland Village, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013.
Born on May 22, 1937, in Houston, Texas, to Basil G. Eidd and Julia May Kalleen Eidd, Bob married Linda McLemore September 1, 1957, a year after meeting at Humble Oil in Houston where they were both employed.

After moving to Highland Village in 1963, they became members of First United Methodist Church where both were active working with the youth group and serving on various committees.

Bob served on the first city council for Highland Village and acted as a deputy - the kids and their friends called him Deputy Dog. He worked as a claims adjuster, first at Trinity Universal and then Ohio Casualty insurance companies, retiring in 1997, after which he worked with the family business of Eidd Reporting,Video & Records for several more years.

He and Linda are current members of Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound.

Bob is survived by wife, Linda; children, Janice Eidd-Meadows and Bobby Eidd; grandchildren, Jacqueline Jones and Chad Hudson; great-grandchildren, Meah and Colt Jones; and brothers, Basil and Doug Eidd.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton and a celebration of life at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
