FMHS Improv troupe presents ‘Totally 80’s! Totally Murder!’
From staff reports
The 1980s will make a brief return on Feb. 22 when the Flower Mound High School Improv Troupe stages “Totally ‘80s! Totally Murder!,” a prom night murder-mystery dinner theatre. Doors at the FMHS cafeteria open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. performance improvisational theatre performance (FMHS, 3411 Peters Colony Road, Flower Mound).
Tickets for “Totally ‘80s! Totally Murder!” are $12 each and include an all-you-can-eat pancake, sausage, juice and coffee dinner; hilarious audience participation show; prizes; and souvenir prom pictures. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.fmhstheatre.com and at Flower Mound High School between 11:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 21-22 and at the door starting at 6:30 p.m.. The performance is best suited for ages 12 and older.
Audience members are encouraged to join the fun and pay tribute to the 1980s by dressing in fashions from the decade in addition to the improvisational theatre show by the newest FMHS Theatre student group.
Proceeds from “Totally ‘80s! Totally Murder!” will assist Flower Mound High School students to attend and compete at the 2013 International Thespian Society Festival this summer in Lincoln, Neb. Over 25 FMHS students qualified for individual and group national competition with top performances at the Texas State Thespian Festival last December.
