West Mesquite stays hot with non-district win over Lancaster
West Mesquite continued its strong start to the season on Tuesday with a 82-70 victory over Lancaster.
The Wranglers (8-3) trailed by seven early on but outscored their former district rivals 24-10 in the second quarter to take a 39-32 lead.
West Mesquite padded its advantage with a strong third quarter to push the lead to double digits and the Tigers were unable to make a serious run in the fourth.
West Mesquite will try to continue its winning ways on Friday when it travels to face Naaman Forest.
