Adopt a new pet for a new year at Collin Creek Mall on Saturday, Jan. 12

On Saturday, Jan. 12, Collin Creek Mall will host the Richardson Humane Society (RHS) Pet Adoption Booth and qualified individuals will be able to adopt a homeless cat or dog. RHS will have a variety of animals at the shopping center from 1 to 4 p.m. in Center Court.
Adoption fees, payable in cash or by check to RHS, are $150 for dogs and $100 for cats. Each dog or cat is neutered, micro chipped, current on shots, heartworm tested and treated if necessary; and started on heartworm preventative. All potential adopters must be 21 years or older. The organization conducts a home visit before the adoption is approved.
Future dates when the Richardson Humane Society adoption volunteers will be Collin Creek Mall are Saturdays, Feb. 9 and March 9.
Richardson Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization that has rescued and found homes for over 1800 pets since 2000.
