Prekindergarten students learn to recognize changing seasons

As fast as three-year-olds grows to four-year-olds, seasons come and seasons go. That's what prekindergarten students in Jackie Torres, Sherri Miles and Myrna Castro's bilingual classes at Lewisville ISD's Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center are learning. On Nov. 16, teachers put forth an extra effort to ensure students were engaged in profound learning when they took a field trip to Lewisville's Memorial Park. There, students were guided to observe and describe the signs of fall such as leaves on the ground and colors of the landscape.
