Cambree Delagarza, student at Moss Elementary in Mesquite, daughter of Andres and Davina DeLaGarza of Forney, was recently crowned winner in the 2012 Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Dallas pageant competition that took place on Sunday November 4, 2012. Cambree competed against 38 other young ladies for her title.

The competition consisted of three parts: a personal interview with the judging panel, a casual wear portion showcasing her personality, and a formal wear section where she had to answer a question in front of the audience. "Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition," according to the pageant representatives.

After being selected in the top 10, Cambree then had to draw a question and answer on stage for the audience. "This was so fun, and I'm so excited to go to Nationals," says Cambree.

Cambree will be competing, for her share of thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants. She will represent Dallas and the surrounding communities at the National Competition that will take place in Orlando, Florida on December 11-16, 2013. Over $30,000.00 in prizes and awards will be presented at the National Competition while each winner enjoys this expense paid trip of five nights and six days in Orlando, Florida.

Cambree would like to thank all her sponsors, family, and friends that helped support her in this year's competition.
