Hilda Marie Watson
Hilda Marie Watson of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 7, 2012, at the age of 87.
She was born July 29, 1925, in Timpson, Texas, to Talmadge and Clara (Rhodes) Stilley.
Hilda grew up in Timpson, and in 1945 she married George Watson in Tenaha, Texas. They lived in Brownsboro, where George served as the superintendent of schools.
Hilda spent her life dedicated to caring for and loving her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a member of Community North Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Judy Harrold and husband, Dave, of McKinney, Texas, Stan Watson and wife, Suzan, of Granbury, Texas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Bobby Stilley of Timpson, Texas.
Hilda is preceded in death by her husband, George Watson; parents, Talmadge and Clara Stilley; sisters, Kathleen Higley and JoAnn Thompson; and brother, Delton Stilley.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Community North Baptist Church, in McKinney, Texas. A committal service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Corinth Church and Cemetery, in Shelby County.
The family received friends during a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
