Police calls for Sept. 3 - 10 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

Sept. 3

12:09 a.m. Traffic stop at Preston and County Road 55. Speeding, driver was arrested for a warrant, evading arrest in a vehicle, failure to ID, fugitive from justice. Driving while license invalid and retaliation, threatening harm in retaliation on account of the service of another.

12:15 a.m. – Backup officer in the 500 block of North Colorado Drive. Traffic stop, backup only, Hispanic male ran on foot from residence. Subject pursued, subject apprehended and arrested.

1:06 a.m. – Narcotics violation in the 600 block of West Elm Street. Subject in street and high on narcotics. Her dogs are barking because he is there, she would like him removed. Patrolled area, unable to locate. No report taken.

1:17 p.m. - Abandoned vehicle in the 3800 block of North Dallas Parkway. Car on side of road. 48 hour/10 day sticker applied on driver window.

1:40 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances at Preston and County Road 88. Phone call, Reporting Person states that a woman wrote down her license plate and said that she hit her. Officer advised RP that no accident call had been received. No offense occurred.

8:43 p.m. – Motorist assist in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Female at gas pumps with car that will not start. Vehicle was already gone when officer arrived.

11:11 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 4300 block of County Road 168. Backup deputy on domestic. Deputy arrested one.

11:18 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 200 block of West Fifth Street. Assist Prosper on suspicious person. Backup only.

Sept. 4

1:27 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at County Road 51 and Light Farms. Dark Ford truck driving around in Light Farms. Teens were rabbit hunting. They have permission from landowner.

2:14 a.m. - Assist other agency in the 700 block of Bridgeport Drive. Back up Prosper officer on welfare concern. Subject does have several weapons in house. Attempt was made to contact resident.

10:09 a.m. - Minor accident at Frontier and County Road 83. Accident report filed.

6:10 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 900 block of Bois D'Arc. Assist county civil process server. Task completed.

Sept. 5

12:33 a.m. - Open door in the 3200 block of Morgan. Open garage, resident contacted via cell phone.

1 a.m. - Open door in the 2800 block of Saddlebred Trail. Open garage, crime card completed.

2:58 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Chevy Lumina parked on side of road. 48-hour/10-day sticker applied.

8:37 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of North Ohio. Black Ford Focus abandoned junk vehicle. 72-hour sticker applied as junk vehicle.

11:11 a.m. - Major accident in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Major accident with motorcycle. Accident report completed.

12:22 p.m. - Phone call regarding box of ammo by trash can at County Roads 50 and 51. Notified Prosper Police Department who will call Reporting Person.

3:20 p.m. - Peddler complaint in the 400 block of Shire Lane. Peddlers selling lawn care. Unable to locate.

4:31 p.m. - Suspicious person in the 500 block of West Elm Street. Suspicious person walking around a house a few nights ago. No offense occurred.

8:34 p.m. - Burglary in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Subjects broke into building and took tools. Burglary report completed.

11:12 p.m. - Community policing in the 500 block of Dartmoor Drive. Back hatch open on vehicle. Made contact with resident. Hatch left open by mistake, no signs of tampering or burglary.

11:16 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Subject loading ladder onto vehicle outside pool area. Was spraying pool area for wasp nests. Situation resolved.

Sept. 6

11:21 a.m. – Burglary of motor vehicle in the 200 block of South Oklahoma Drive. Offense report completed.

12:27 p.m. - Found property at Oklahoma and Preston. Found keys on roadway. Placed into property.

12:58 p.m. - Reckless driver reported at Pecan Street police station. Reporting Person advised a white pickup was following too closely southbound on Preston Road from the high school. Unable to locate.

2:41 p.m. - Parking violations in the 600 block of West Cedar Street. Numerous vehicles parked in no parking area. Issued two citations and numerous warnings as people came back to their cars.

5:04 p.m. - Motorist assist at Preston and Ash. Mustang stalled in road. Got it off road and then started.

5:30 p.m. - Information from phone call at Pecan Street police station. Supposed to be a sex offender walking around in Celina. Reporting Person wants to talk to officer about him. Information documented.

8:01 p.m. - Loose livestock at Farm-to-Market Roads 428 and 455. Cow on side of roadway. Helped by bystanders who were on scene ahead of officer. Cow was returned to pasture.

9:59 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances at Alabama and Bois D'Arc. Checking area for possible burglary suspects. Did not locate anyone on foot in area.

10:39 p.m. - Traffic complaint at Preston and Sunset. Flagged down about bicycle with no headlights. Warning, followed subject home and advised him to get a headlight for safety and compliance with state law.

Sept. 7

12:27 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of Winchester Drive. Caller states that there is a lot of screaming coming from residence such as “No stop it!” and “Get off!” Caller was just walking by and heard the screams, did not want to give his name. Assault, family violence report completed. Arrest made.

5:53 a.m. - Assist other agency in the 5200 block of County Road 52. Backup only.

7:25 a.m. - Assist other agency at Custer and Frontier. Major accident, referred to other agency. Provided traffic control.

9 a.m. - Minor accident in the 2900 block of East Frontier Parkway. Vehicle hit a fence. Accident report filed.

7:05 p.m. - Juvenile problem at East Ash Street. Flagged down by motorist. Reporting Person stated kids are putting stuff in the street. Checked area, unable to locate.

8:15 p.m. - Suspicious person at Colorado and Pecan. Juvenile at back door of library after hours. Juvenile using Internet on his cell phone. No offense observed.

8:20 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and County Road 6. Reporting Person said she saw a motorcycle in ditch. Unable to locate.

8:58 p.m. - Major accident in the 3000 block of North Dallas Parkway. One-car rollover. Accident report completed.

9:32 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 500 block of East Pecan Street. Electrical fire, assisted fire department in locating electric fire. Cleared for a second call.

9:50 p.m. - Burglary of residence in the 3400 block of Preston Lakes Drive. High winds caused doors to open and scatter property. No signs of forced entry or property missing. Per Reporting Person's father, no report should be made. Officer checked residence and doors but saw nothing that would indicate a burglary. Reporting Person's father reports no property missing or damaged. No report occurred.

10:45 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of East Beech Street. Suspicious person, locals out drinking in yard, no signs of any offense.

Sept. 8

12:04 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 400 block of East Beech Street. People outside drinking being loud. Talked to residence at location and advised them to quiet it down.

12:36 a.m. - Traffic hazard in the 800 block of West Frontier Parkway. Tire in roadway. Tire removed.

12:46 a.m. - Missing person in the 100 block of Hillside Drive. Missing 17-year-old. Reporting Person located child prior to officer contact.

2:54 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Parked at park after hours. Driver was relaxing after being out with friends.

12:29 p.m. - Citizen assist in the 300 block of North Louisiana Drive. Individual is at fire department needing a gun put back together. Put gun back together for individual, situation resolved.

4:51 p.m. - Citizen assist in the 5100 block of East Pecan Street. Citizen wishes extra patrol in the 400 block of East Beech Street regarding lots of drinking and possible drug sales. Officer advised citizen he would do an extra patrol for location.

5:43 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 1500 block of North Preston Road. Assist Prosper Police Department with accident that driver fled on foot. Subject was located and arrested.

7:49 p.m. - Assist other agency in the 2400 block of North Louisiana Drive. Assist deputies with domestic. Checked area for suspect, unable to locate.

8:17 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Kids riding 4-wheeler. Unable to locate.

8:18 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Red Mustang, unable to locate.

8:54 p.m. - Assist other agency at the Pecan Street police station. Deputy needs to use police department for assault victim and her son. Need to put them at police department until someone can pick them up. Waited with victim and son until family member arrived and picked them up.

9:31 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 400 block of Palomino Lane. Several groups of juveniles being loud, screaming and yelling. Officer spoke to several groups in area and advised them to be quiet and respectful. No offense observed.

9:46 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances at Oklahoma and Walnut. Reporting Person advised a Hispanic male tried to pull her cousin into a black vehicle. Unable to locate.

10:22 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance at Walnut and Alabama. Kids riding on 4-wheeler again. Documentation only. Located 4-wheeler, spoke to owner. Bike has been put up. Officer contacted Reporting Person.

Sept. 9

1:19 a.m. - Criminal mischief in the 700 block of West Main Street. Gray Grand Am hit Reporting Person's mailbox. No report per complainant. Reporting Person just wanted officers to know what happened in case the driver was intoxicated officers could try to get them off the road. Advised RP that officers would be in area looking for the car.

11:41 a.m. – 911 hang-up in the 300 block of West Beech Street. Owner's kids were playing on phone. No offense occurred.

6:31 a.m. - Assist other agency at County Roads 138 and 137. Loose livestock, two cows in roadway. Unable to locate. Reporting Person called back and said the cows are in her front yard now and that is why officer did not see them.

8:17 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Reporting Person states that there is a blue truck next to his business. Inside is a male and female arguing. Vehicle was already gone before officers arrived.

10:53 p.m. - Fight in progress in the 200 block of North New Mexico Drive. Subjects fighting in street. Five to six subjects, guys and girls. Reporting Person does not know if they have any weapons. Officer spoke to 3 people walking the street and they have not heard or seen anything. No offense occurred.

Sept. 10

2:55 a.m. – Missing person in the 1200 block of Settlers Ridge Road. Reporting Person advised male patient missing, 83-year-old confined to wheelchair. Subject located. He is with family.
