Pizza lovers, rejoice! Jet's Pizza has landed in Frisco. The 1750 square foot store is located at 7151 Preston Road, Suite 331 (in a plaza at the southwest corner of Preston and Stonebrook).

Jet’s signature square, deep dish pizza with a crunchy crust has inspired a fanatical following across the country.  Hand-tossed round and thin crust style pizzas are also available. Jet’s pizza dough and sauce are prepared FRESH daily at each store using only the finest quality ingredients—inspiring the company slogan, “Life is short. Eat better pizza.” Customers can “flavorize” their crust for free with a choice of eight flavors: butter, poppy seed, Parmesan, garlic, Cajun, Romano sesame seed and Turbo Crust. Jet’s menu also offers salads, wings, breadsticks and Jetzee subs for carry out or delivery.

Single slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza are always available to grab and go along with the “slice of the day” which alternates among favorite combinations like Hawaiian and barbeque chicken pizza. Customers can enjoy lunch specials and discounted items before 3 p.m. A large, square, one-topping pizza is $10.99 and feeds a family of four—ideal for busy back-to-school dinners.

Brothers Vince and Matthew Colagiovanni and their cousin Paul Lachowicz relocated to Frisco to open their first Jet’s franchise and share their passion for Jet’s Pizza. All three men grew up near Sterling Heights, Michigan, where Jet’s was founded, and have backgrounds in the service industry.

“We have been eating Jet’s Pizza since we could chew our food. We all LOVE it!” said Vince Colagiovanni. “We are excited to bring the Jet’s experience to the residents of Frisco and the north Dallas area and we’re confident that anyone who tries Jet’s Pizza will become a fan.”

The store has an opening crew of 30 part time employees and drivers hired from the surrounding area.

Store hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to midnight and Sunday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Jet’s is one of the most rapidly expanding pizza franchises in the country, ranked 17th in overall sales by Pizza Magazine. In 2010, Jet’s increased its revenue by 30 percent, with sales of $163 million (compared with an average five percent growth in the pizza industry overall). Since its founding in 1978, Jet’s has grown to more than 200 stores in 15 states.

There are currently two other Jet’s stores in Texas (Plano and Fort Worth.) Three more locations are planned for later this year: two in Austin and one in North Richland Hills.
