Allen Chapter of National Charity League Celebrates First Year of Service

The National Charity League Inc., Allen Chapter (Formed in February 2011) currently has 250 members including Moms and Daughters grades 7th-12th and provides hands-on volunteer service for many philanthropic organizations in the Allen community and surrounding areas. Through this community service, NCL develops socially responsible community leaders and strengthens the mother-daughter relationship. This NCL program also includes cultural awareness and experiences. NCL mother-daughter teams nationwide are responsible, dedicated, skilled volunteers actively engaged in local community work in 15 states across the country, through 150 Chapters. The Allen Chapter currently volunteers and supports philanthropies such as: Allen Community Outreach, The Heard Museum, Allen ISD, Collin County Special Olympics, Project Linus, The Belmont, Sci-Tech Discovery Center, Welcome Home a Hero and Allen Heritage Guild just to name a few.
